At A Glance: Located on the outskirts of Kinshasa, the Lemba Imbu School was started in 1995 by Santu Ntendi Paul-Gaston and his wife Charlotte Ndona, who is the head teacher. The project is supported in part by World Vision, which provides new desks and textbooks, and covers the basic school fees for 150 of the poorest students.

Goals: Provide a quality education and a safe, supportive environment in which young Congolese students can learn and grow.

Results: The school currently has approximately 450 students and plans to expand its capacity in the near future.
