USAHA MULIA ABADI (Noble and Eternal Effort) began in 1997 in a rural area of Central Mexico where many families live in poverty. The mission of Usaha Mulia Abadi is to provide an environment and space for children and young people to help them develop their skills, knowledge and comprehension so they can realize their potential. The project strives to maintain an atmosphere or harmony and respect for all.

The project covers nutrition and educational programmes for children and young people, community activities and support for environmental issues. These programmes arise from the needs of the community and range from scholarships, to nutritional supplements, composting and rainwater harvesting, to support for communal enterprises and ecotourism.

Usaha Mulia Abadi also provides free community workshops to raise awareness and provide information on these important issues.
